Look what I made!!!

I'm very proud of this. I got this idea from the WOW store in Odessa. Ok, not that it looks like anything they sold there, but they did sell a giant cross and from that I came up with this..... It will eventually be surrounded by some of my other cross collection to finish out the wall, but for now I had to show you my masterpiece.

All the little princesses!!!

Here are Ally, Ashlee, and Rylee having a sleep over last month. All had to be in their princess jammies.....still playing princess at bedtime!

New clothes from Nana

So Nana bought us new shorts for Christmas. I was just lucky and found shirts that matched perfectly at Target. So we had to have photo session to show off our new clothes from Nana. Mind you anything that comes from Nana....is constantly referred to as "my shorts from Nana." "the shirt Nana gave me". It's never the plaid shorts.
So we got ready for the birthday party and they wanted to have their picture made in their new outfits. I thought they turned out pretty cute. Rylee has a pair too, if we can just find a time to get together to have a big photo shoot in our matching shorts!!!

Kaden's Birthday Party

This weekend we attended the 4th Birthday party of our good friend Kaden. If we lived in a country that allowed Arranged marriages, I would have already arranged for him to marry Ashlee. Honestly, allowed or no, don’t think it hasn’t crossed my mind!
Kaden is a SPECIAL little boy to us. His daddy, our friend, Jonathan Dragus was killed in the line of duty when Kaden was 5 months old. We were all devastated. Kaden is now 4 years old. I can still remember getting the phone call that the little guy had finally arrived!! His Mama was QUITE ready for him to get here. He just gets cuter and cuter every day.
The girls just LOVE him and love when he comes over to play Cars. He loves to come play out our house in the country ‘cuz he can run and jump and do things that scare us all to death because he’s a daredevil!!!
So I’m just a little partial to him…and will Always love him and his Mama and Daddy dearly! And if I have anything to say about the future, I think they would make a great couple!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KADEN!!

Kaboom Cleaner

Was I really supposed to know that Kaboom Tub and TILE cleaner was only supposed to be used on "certain" types of tile. Ok, I know I was supposed to read the back, but who does that? Now I might have damaged my brand new shower floor. Here's hoping the Tile Man has some good answers for me.

A First for this First

I've never done this before, but was asked to start this so that distant family and friends can keep up with my girls on a more regular basis. So I'll do the best I can.
I thought it appropriate that my first blog be dedicated to a first for us. The Dentist. Yesterday was a first for us. And those of you that are thinking..."Isn't Ally 5?" Yes she is but this was her first cleaning appointment. I've come to terms with the fact that I'm not getting mother of the year. I"m doing the best I can.
So off we went yesterday for cleanings for the girls. As you can tell from the pictures abovea all went well!! Ashlee was ok with it all but she did NOT want the dentist to count her teeth. I had told her this in attempt to lessen her inhibitions but she didn't need it. She was fine...and very excited. Although, she did tell the hygenist after she had polished the top teeth that she didn't want "that thing" anymore. Ally had been before just to have a tooth looked at but she didn't know what to expect for the cleaning.
It was a cavity free day and everyone went home with a new Shrek toothbrush, so all was well with the world.
